Camped here years ago and it definitely had a creepy vibe at night. The attractions were fun to walk around and see. It’s a good place to take a rest to/from Vegas and kill some time.

I planned a Father's Day camping trip here with two children. The area itself is beautiful and the lake is great for swimming or boating. The only con would be if you needed to go get food or needed anything. The lake is pretty isolated and there is one small market a few miles away so make sure you have everything you need before you get there!

We stopped here on our way home at the last minute and were not disappointed! The castle was amazing to look at and the views of the lakes were wonderful.
