The staff reminded me of a Wes Anderson film. As road side motels go it wasn't bad.

I like this beach. It is a good free beach. The bathrooms are clean, they have a splash park and play ground a few grills and access to the beach.

This park is on the other side of the river. It is not marked correctly on road trippers map.
It is one of my favorite beaches to go to.
It has all of the things you want in a beach. Lots of parking, drive on access, ample showers on the beach and near the restrooms, clean restrooms with running water, a board walk, place for fishing, pet beach, pavilions with grills, soda machine, life guard tower and a ice cream truck.
The beach it self is wide and long. I love this beach. It is definitely in my top 10.

This park has clean bathrooms and showers, a dog beach, a spot for fishing and viewing towers. The walk from the parking lot is long and scenic. Bring a wagon if you have small children.
The beach it self is long and wide, not crowded and is very beautiful.

I have lived in Florida most of my life but have
only recently went to Canaveral National Seashores.
We went on Memorial Day weekend. The admission was $10.00 per car. For all day access. They except credit cards.
The parking is ample. We drove down to the fourth lot and there was a lot of parking spaces still open. There where only about 20 families on the beach. We had lots of space and it felt like we where swimming alone.
The beach is steep and not wide but a lot of length between parking entrance points. It has lots of sea shells which you can't find at beaches north of the park.
It was a calm day so no big waves. Very relaxing. The part of the beach we where at had a tide pool about two feet deep. Great for small children.
The only thing I did not enjoy about this beach are the bathrooms. No showers, no separate changing area, no running water, basically the bathrooms are permanent porta potties.
Cons: Bad bathroom, narrow beaches and no concession area.
Pros: no crowd's, lots of sea shells, beautiful veiw, cheep admissions, and you can see NASA's launch stations. Plus they have a really cool visitors center with a pond with snapping turtles.
