The site was ok. Nothing special. It’s a pretty sketchy neighborhood leading into the park on one side and the other entrance is an industrial park. The sites were fairly level and the park was quite. Bathrooms need some love.
This was a fantastic find! We were driving through and stopped for the night on a Saturday. If you reserve in advance, they require 2 nights, but you can pull up for a single night if they have spots available.
They are dog friendly and our pup had fun swimming in the lake off the dock side (he wasn’t allowed to swim at the beach). Super quite, shady spots. Multiple public bathroom facilities around the sites. We had an RV hookup with water, electricity, and sewage for $45.
The only downfall was that we got a spot right under a street light. Otherwise, it was exactly what we were looking for!
Stopped here for the night. It’s a great quiet stopover spot next to the interstate so it’s super convenient with water and electricity hook up. We will keep this on the list for future trips.
