Don't come here with a sinus infection. Seriously, don't, because you won't be able to take in the craft beer and burger aroma. The fries couldn't be compared to, and I had my first Terrapin Chocolate Peanut Butter beer here. They have some board games to play with while you wait for your food, or if you're just having drinks with some friends.

Be warned, though. This place can get very busy, and very packed. Sometimes you won't get a table for almost an hour, but that's just how good the whole place is. My boyfriend and I got kind of hammered here because we didn't want to stop trying the different beers!

Okay, so Cupcake's cupcake may be a liiiiiiiittle on the pricey side, but (1) they make them big enough for two to share, and (2) they only use all-natural ingredients. They're always delicious with nine flavors a day (so they're always fresh), and a daily gluten-free flavor, AND a weekly vegan flavor.

Give up on your diet. Seriously, if not just for the moment. Cupcake Down South may boast gourmet cupcakes at a price that seems a little steep, but the cupcakes can hold their own against TWO sweet tooths, and they're always made with all-natural ingredients. They even have a daily gluten-free flavor, and weekly vegan flavors. The blueberry cobbler is by far my favorite.

Let me start by saying that this place is the worst kept secret in all of West Ashley! But it is so worth the fight for parking and the awkward wait for a table! Once you sit (there's also a bar to sit for your meal), you can enjoy the local art (for sale) hanging up on the walls, and how relaxed the staff is. The staple? Chicken and waffles, and I'm not just being "southern" when I say it should be the first thing you try. Pecan-encrusted fried chicken with hearty waffles that have a hint of spice to them (how I like my ALL FOOD), is not a dish I recommend passing up. Yes, they can cook the chicken without the pecans if you're allergic, and yes, they do have vegetarian options! This is West Ashley, after all, home to all with particular lifestyles and preferences.

Oh. My. Goodness. This place is a favorite! My family grew up on hotdogs, and Perfectly Frank's took hotdogs and made them fun to eat again! I love going there and trying the most off-the-wall thing, like the Frankie B with strawberry jam and bacon! They also have hand-dipped corn dogs, and may I suggest the Frankie "Elvis" with peanut butter, bananas, and bacon! Don't forget to order the sweet-potato fries with bleu cheese and honey when you visit.

Also, local tip: They have a Monday lunch special! Two for $5! (Double check on that, though because it's been a while for me).
