I am so glad I booked this experience! We were picked up from Madaley Bay hotel on a shuttle at 10:00 am and head over to the Colorado river (willow beach in Arizona). The ride is included in your ticket, with the exception to the river/park entrance, which is $15 per person. This fee is free to Veterans! Thank you for your service.
Once we got there, we got a mini kayaking lesson and we were on our way to an adventure. Eddie, our tour guy, was such a sport! He was helpful, polite, and always on the look for every single person in the tour. Eddie even took pictures of everyone and shared them at the end of the tour. Eddie also took us on a mini hike, then to the Emerald Caves. The caves are just as beautiful as you see them in the picture. The water looks turquoise when the sun hits the river. Everything was easy peasy until the wind went wild!
The kayaking turned into an extreme sport fighting the waves. It was the most amazing thrilling thing I have done all year lol! (Everyone was safe.... and doable! Also Eddie took good care of us). This actually made the tour so much fun! Now I got shoulder and arms for daaaaayyys! I will be sore tomorrow. The tour also offered little snacks and waters.
