No frills easy place to stop for the night. Nice people, We pulled in at night easy place to miss because of darkness. They let you pick wherever you want, first place we chose the electrical didn’t work, it was a cold windy night so didn’t like that.
Cute cabins and walking areas, locally owned park. Easy pull through sites we only stayed one night. They like cash, check or Venmo, good thing we had a check book we are use to using a debit card. No office on site so a bit strange to work only through a on site host.
Super cute and well maintained park. Far enough off the hwy there is no road noise, we did hear the train. Easy pull through sites, with grass. Pride of ownership.
This was a beautiful campsite one of our favorites so far. Partly because there was so few people, it was quiet and we got a space that had a beautiful view of the lake. We are in a class c and didn’t need to use other facilities. The alligator advice on the site map was a bit unsettling but we were only there for one night. Nice sites and road seemed like had just been replaced so easy to drive in and out.
Half the park was closed due to repairs, which was probably a good thing. Tried 5 different spaces before finding adequate electricity. Ended up in the A section where the electrical had just been re done. Had a very nice large space. We stayed 4 nights. Be prepared to walk quite a bit to use the pool or laundry facilities, but we enjoyed the walk. The lake was even further and down a very rough road. Lake Whitney is a beautiful clean lake. Bring your skeeter repellent.
Stopped for one night was lucky to find room as it was a holiday weekend. Roadtrippers was not up to date on availability and showed lots availability but it was full. It’s a hillside so bit challenging to get into and google maps took us wrong way the first time. The people were friendly and accommodating.
Easy to find and adequate fir a one night stay. Lots of pride of ownership in the Mobil’s of people who live there full time. Not a vacation place but comfortable and easy for a one night stay.
Clean and basic place under new ownership for only a few months. Easy to deal with. The park is easy to locate and maneuver we don’t have horses but it was fun to see them in the pasture close by.
Loved this place however the bumpy road out to really see the white sands really stressed my husband. If you’re traveling in an RV just be for warned the road is bumpy but petty flat and nice and wide. I’m glad we stopped very much worth seeing.
The do not take same day reservations, I guess this is Arizona State law. The website didn't work for my reservation the night before. Disappointed I didn't get to stay here ended up in a mobile home park. Nothing special.
