I loved this quiet campground. I wish we could have stopped there for a week-long vacation instead of two nights. The kids loved the swimming hole and the nearby town of Three Rivers has a great coffee shop, frozen yogurt, and pizza. The employees were helpful too so make sure you stop by the office to ask for local suggestions.

Stopped for gas off the Highway and received free peaches from the Murray Farms market. This is a great spot to stop for fresh fruit, fresh pies, or pickled goods.

We only had a one night stop over at Cherry Hill and we arrived too late and left too early to take advantage of the water park amenities but it looked like A LOT of fun for kids. The campground was crowded with groups of families having cookouts together and kids playing. We had full hookups and a pull through site. It was an easy check in. It was a little tight getting out in the morning due to the crowded sites but not unmanageable. I definitely felt safe. It would be a lot of fun to spend some time here with kids and family if you like that kind of vacation. We didn’t use the facilities so I can’t comment on those.

Staff and other campers were friendly and it felt like a safe place. The pool looked nice and the mini golf looked fun. It was perfect for our one night stop over. Full hookups and drive through spots. We didn’t use the facilities so I can’t speak to those.

5 Stars for location location location. This is the only campground in the actual Badlands National Park. When we arrived we were told someone took our reserved spot, we wouldn’t fit there anyway, and wouldn’t have wanted it since it was next to the dumpster. We were kindly directed to a side road location away from the crowded main campground - it was a beautiful spot with a small tree, a view, grass, and covered picnic tables. No electricity or water but there was a station for water and dumping. We didn’t use the public facilities so I can’t speak to those. The astronomy presentation was great and they gave out patches to the kids. Amazing experience.
