Very cool. Opens on Thursday through the weekend for the stores although you can walk through just to look 7days a week. I thought it was really neat.
The kids loved this place. We ate breakfast and spent about 2 hours total here.

I didn't feel safe trespassing with children, but we did see some really awesome birds and got some great photos on the road to the fair. I didn't drive right down the road only about halfway.
I have 3 kids under the age of 12 and they only found this moderately exciting. They loved Jamestown yesterday so I don't know why they weren't as interested here. The place is really cool to walk through but it is very commercialized. I was disappointed there were not more demonstrations of life as it was. I don't think unwound go again, it was costly and reminded me of a theme park atmosphere.
I have a 12,8, and 6 year old and they absolutely loved it!! Great photo opportunities! We ran out of time!! We were there 4 hours!!
I had a 11,8, and 6 yr old. I thought it was pricey for a self guided tour but understand the fee was to help support the care of the injured birds. There is also a civil war museum and fort nearby that was interesting at $7 fee each person. The kids were entertained and the raptor center took us 45 minutes to complete.
