We stayed back in September of 2015, yes, I should have left this review earlier.
We found this site when we were on the road traveling south on I-5 and needed an overnight and made a short notice reservation by phone. Despite pulling in late, the staff were very helpful and got us oriented quickly so we could settle in for the night.
The park is wonderful. The grounds and facilities were very well kept up making for a great experience. Unfortunately there was not a movie showing that evening, but that is not a deal breaker when it comes to the park.
When we take another jaunt down the I-5 corridor in that direction we will definitely be staying again.
We have stayed at this park on an annual trip for the last two years. The facilities are not state of the art or as expansive as other parks that we have stayed at, but they are neat and clean. The staff are super nice and very accommodating. The proximity to the beach and the easy access to it is a major selling point for this one. The prices per night are a bit higher than most other parks, but the beach access and super fast WiFi help to balance that out in the end.
We already have our reservations in for the same time next year.
