Absolutely THE worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Foremost, the parking was atrocious. We anticipated the parking situation in San Francisco very limited however, when this hotel promised us a parking spot, with a designated permit, they haphazardly found us a spot only to be woken the next day by housekeeping asking for us to move our car as it was blocking their way. After checking into our room on the first day we were immediately overwhelmed by a stench of dirty feet smell in our room. Forget trying to evacuate the smell with the AC because there is only a ceiling fan in the room, which was not mentioned on their website. As a side note, plan on carrying your bags upstairs because the elevator was very very slow. I strongly discourage anyone staying at this hotel. Also, the price did not match their accommodations (ie. price too high, for poor quality).
One, and only one, positive thing that did happened for us was that the hotel manager gave us our parking for free because he understood our problem and only after I complained to the hotel staff about the parking. And I cannot forget Angel, who surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine because of our parking issues.
Taken all of this into consideration we have to rate this place very low because our vacation was a little less enjoyable for the two days we stayed here.
The best part of our vacation was the trip to Calico Ghost town. Of course, this town is not ghostly rather a picturesque version of the town long ago. We loved the authenticity of the people and the food was amazing. We will definitely return here again.
Authentic in every way. The few amount of people really add to the feel of a ghost town.
