Difficult to beat for choice, consistent quality and price. The White Spot is a perennial BC favourite.
This is a funny one to list because the community centre is probably not something that most tourists would visit on a road trip. It's really a seniors centre which means that even residents such as myself don't get much use from it. The aquatic centre that it is tagged on to is however much more likely to be used by road trippers as it has an awesome leisure pool and separate lap pool with hot tubs and saunas. Definitely one to visit with the family.
You do need a head for heights to get real value out of this. We like to go in the Holidays as they have the world's biggest Christmas tree there. There's also some other none height related stuff such as making your own glass tree ornament as well as the biggest tourist gift shop in Vancouver (better than it sounds). Another bonus is that dogs are allowed into the park so Fido can enjoy the fun too.
