The bathroom proved that there are some thing magic eraser (yes, I had one) can’t fix. I wouldn’t stay here again unless my car broke down. I gave two stars instead of one because our room faced east so we could see a beautiful sunrise.
This place is an experience! The staff cater to you, we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our rose garden patio, there is lavender everywhere (of course). Definitely worth the trip, I hope to visit again.
This is a high point in the grassland that is kind of neat but unrealistic as a place to visit with a family.
Closes at 4 pm during winter (not 5) and is out where cell service is patchy so we couldn’t get their website to work before driving 18 miles (and 30 minutes) out of our way to be told the Monument was closing in 2 minutes. The Park Ranger did take a very nice family photo of us and provide us with a brochure.
