Lake of the Clouds, Michigan and Lost Coast, California are my two favorite places on earth. Schedule has caused me to briefly pass through both of these places in the past. I would love to return to the Lake of the Clouds area in Michigan and linger for awhile. There exists a park cabin near the western end overlook of Lake of the Clouds. The cabin is within walking distance of the lake overlook for the enjoyment of endless sunrises. And, it is within a short distance of Shining Cloud Falls, which I am told is a hidden gem and is only accessible to view with time and destination available.
