Love this place. The sites are huge and private. Most sites have water views. One large loop is dog friendly. Camp store has lots of necessities for things that were forgotten. Great for kayaks/canoes, bikes, beach, and some history too.
I give the 4 stars for noise because the kids at the playground during our week were out of control. Very loud as early as 7am Saturday morning.

T33 and T35 Worst Spots, one tiny Tree with no privacy. A Fire Pit in A Big Grassy Area. The Outer Sites Are Better with Some Trees and privacy. The Bath House Charges For Showers so bring Quarters If You Plan To Use The Showers. Lovely Lakeside Location. Pool And Playground Look Nice Too Though We Didn’t Use. short bike or walk on a gravel path to the point and nature center.

The sites are all heavily shaded which keeps them much cooler than the surrounding area. All the sites looked flat and mostly private including the non-electric sites. Our site had 30 or 50 amp option. Usually a 2night minimum, but you can show up and stay one night if they have space. Self serve system.

Cunningham Falls State Park is a gem. Addison loop has good elevation, nice trees sites, clean bathroom, nice camp hosts.
We went for a 4 mile and a 10 mile hike and really enjoyed both. The cliff trail to the falls is rocky and steep but doable. We were able to access the hikes in Catoctin National Park from our site.
We would definitely return. We were on site 15 which is very nice. Also like sites 16 and 17.
