Great for a quick overnight. Three dedicated RV spots behind the restaurant. We arrived around 8pm and took the third one. It was slightly slanted left-right but fine for us. It was a busy travel weekend and at least 8 other travelers were parked around the perimeter of the lot when we woke up in the morning, but we were not disturbed by them at all.

We spent $10 to dump and flush out the tanks in March 2024. In Wisconsin, a lot of dump stations aren't open year round. On the day we went, the dump station wasn't open but they sent us to a full hookup site that serves the same purpose. Quick in and out. Nice staff.
We spent five nights here in July 2021. Many of the sites were closed, so it felt very uncrowded. One bathroom could get a little dirty from use, but it was cleaned every day. Deer wandered through our campsite and elk wandered past the campground. We did not need timed entry for Bear Lake Corridor and could use the shuttle service to get to our desired hikes or visit the rest of the park.

We stayed in Site 20, a level and flat parking pad. Water and electric hookup. Very clean bathroom and showers. We stayed with our tween boys who loved riding their bikes around the various loops of the North Campground. Very easy access to the beach. Great bird watching in the marsh. Friendly staff in the visitors center. Several short walking and biking paths. Easy drive to restaurants. We also drove to Georgetown one day to explore the historic town.
We would definitely stay here again. We stayed for five days and feel like we still have other bits to explore.

This was our final camping excursion of the year, and it was stunning. Fall in the Midwest is a treat. The trees were gorgeous, the campground was quiet and the trails were well-maintained. We saw the park ranger who was informative and helpful. When we were there, the camphosts were not around but the park was filled with quiet folks enjoying the season.
We had a site with electric for $28. Dumpstation right outside the campground was easy to use. Firewood was available for cash within the campsite.
