This is one of the coolest hikes I've done in my life! Nothing too challenging here, but there are several ladders and very steep portions that may be too much for small children and the elderly.
The deep cut pathways in the sandstone offer an incredibly unique experience with amazing scenery. The history of this place is well explained by the $1 brochures available near the beginning of the trail. Overall, I highly recommend this roughly 2 hour hike for anyone interested in the history of the area, and for anyone who wants to see the vast natural beauty of New Mexico.

Rooms and lobby were clean and inviting, despite portions of the hotel being under construction. The only problem was our air conditioner/heater. It was very loud and would kick on and off frequently.
