I am very afraid of heights and I was able to take the ride and enjoy the view. Maybe not a great experience for those who do not like heights or small spaces. Before you get your tickets there is a replica pod for you to see. It feels very much like a ferris wheel. Besides the ride there is a museum that you can view without having to take the ride. The museum is wonderful. My kids really enjoyed it. There is also a gift shop. And a food area but it was closed when we visited. There were vending machines.
Museum was Closed. Not much to see other than the mounds which are incredible to think about. It would have been nice to see some art or statues or even like a replica village building or two. These are spread out and many are driving distances from each other.
