Picture is not from Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Location on map is not accurate. Park is south of Fernwood. Previous review not accurate regarding McWay Falls. Water fall is at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park which is another 12-15 miles south of Pfeiffer Big Sur SP. Hiking down to the beach is illegal. Many serious injuries and deaths from those attempting...plus you will be ticketed from Park Rangers.

It's a beautiful beach, but can be extremely dangerous. Good to view from top of sand dune not at the waters edge.
