Lovely town that has gone to great effort to increase tourism. Interesting history on display with the totems spread over a few streets. Take the time to walk around, read up on the history of the first peoples and the carvers who created these impressive works of art. Plenty of coffee shops around too.

Island Raptors is a fabulous place to go and see these magnificent birds in free flight. You can even pay a bit more to have an up close and personal. Well worth a visit if you live birds of prey.

Beautiful easy walk from the car park to this spectacularly preserved trestle bridge, the tallest wooden trestle in the world. Formerly used as a rail crossing it is now a lovely place for a walk, jog ride etc.
