Stayed here overnight. The rate is a Passport America discount. You are led to your site. It was long enough to stay hitched to our trailer if wanted to. However, this town has so many great Route 66 things to see that we wanted to go explore a bit. Level gravel pull-thru with full hookups. Had laundry but closes at 7:00pm. One unique amenity is a vehicle / RV washing pad for $10! There is also a car wash by the grocery store that has one bay tall enough to pull in an RV. Have never come across that before. If interested, there is a great 18 hole frisbee golf course just west of town! Don't miss eating at Del's Restaurant and seeing the Blue Swallow Motel especially at night so you can see the neon signs!

Fee is $10 payable at gas station register before using. It can be difficult to get to due to truck parking. I was going to have to back into it. It only has potable water with a sign indicating that it is not to be used for flushing black tanks. Plus the spigot is right beside the sewer opening. Decided to pass.

This was the last night of our 3 month trip and wanted a full hookup campground to empty / flush the tanks before heading home. It is a great place to sit down while exploring the area. Was able to make the reservation on-line. The site was assigned at check-in. The campground is on a small slant so expect to level a bit. The back-in was gravel with grass all around. The water spigot and dump were on the driver side with the electrical post on the passenger side. Our electric cord is 30' long so no problem reaching the post. Lots of mature trees provide plenty of shade. The water spigot was very low to the ground. With my pressure reducer and Y valve, the in-line water filter had to lay on the ground.

The office has a small store. The ice cream store was open although we did not partake. The grounds are well kept and it was very quiet.

Wanted a place to stay that would let us visit the northern section of Olympic National Park as well as the northern coastline. This was perfect. We were in the front electric/water section with a beautiful view of the snow covered mountains behind the campground. The drive pattern within the park is a bit strange. Definitely ask the desk about how to maneuver back to the dump station when ready. By their own admission, propane is much cheaper at the IGS out on 101. The staff is so friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The ice cream social and bingo were lots of fun. The park is very well maintained. No recycling. The pool was open, but brrrrrr! The hot tub was closed due to supply chain issues. The office has a large DVD library, games, and the usual store with a bit of everything. The wi-fi was excellent with many repeaters throughout the grounds.

The drive up to Hurricane Ridge was amazing! Many of the trails were still snow covered so not accessible or snowshoes recommended. Spent time exploring from Crescent Lake to the west all the way to Port Townsend in the east. If you are looking for whale watching, Puget Sound Express seems to be the only option and seats fill up fast. Make reservations. They do have a waitlist and said that many never show. You can take your changes walking up to the ticket booth 30 minutes prior to departure to see if there are any seats. Definitely spend time hiking in the Dungeness Recreation Area all the way out to the spit.

First, our nightly rate was due to making the reservation late last year before the rates went up. My reservation was honored which I appreciated.

This is a great campground! Selected it so that we could visit Albuquerque and Santa Fe without having to change campgrounds. Spent one day in each city. The pull-thru site is on a slant, but not so much that you cannot level your RV. Pulled the trailer to the front of the pull-thru so the door would be aligned with the covered picnic table. There are longer pull-thru sites for much larger rigs that are flat.

I know this is a weird thing to put in a review, but I liked the dump station! The septic hole was recessed into the ground so that the liquid did not have to go up and over like so many dump stations.

The smells coming from the neighboring restaurant frequently made our mouths water! However, we did not give in. There is a great laundromat just the other side of 85 on the right side. West of the campground is just about any store you could need for provisions.

Be sure to get on Route 66 going east for the Singing Highway playing America, the Beautiful! Did it twice!

Stayed here 3 nights to explore the northern and southern parts of Redwoods National Park. Check-in was fun with the sisters who run the front desk. If you have a dog, expect a mandatory dog meet-n-greet with these dog lovers! Overall, the park is well maintained. The pull-thrus are narrow making it difficult to stay off the nicely manicured lawn. My wife gave the laundry room a thumbs-up. The best part is the Klamath River running past the entire campground. There is a forested peninsula on the other side that was enshrouded in fog each morning. So beautiful. The docks had not been put out yet. There is a fish cleaning station by the office. Per current rules, you can wash your RV using environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. That was so welcome given a month's worth of bugs on the front of our trailer. There is a bit of road noise, but not much at night.

Overall, this is a perfect campground for visiting the Sedona area. It is only 20 minutes to West Sedona. The sites are tight if you have someone on either side. The campground appears to be in good shape and well maintained. We had a water and electric site. There is a dump station although in an awkward position. It is on the connection road between the upper and lower sites and the road is slanted. Have to approach it from the lower sites and you will be blocking the road.

There is one big challenge - entering the campground. If you are approaching from Rt 89A, it will be easy. The access road is to the left past the winery / restaurant. However, if you are coming from I-17 to 30, there is no campground sign other than "Large trailers - no turn". This is an extreme right turn at about 130 degrees then down a sharp incline. Can be done if you swing wide to the left then enter. Otherwise, you have to go up the road a bit for a turnaround.

We have T-Mobile with 5G phones. Sometimes, 4G with 4 bars is available and sometimes there is nothing. Don't plan on having access.

This is a great place to use as home base. While it is a block off the busy strip, it is like a different world. Mature trees all around, spring flowers blooming, and very little noise from the outside. Dave met us at the front entrance and led us to our site staying with us until the trailer was perfectly situated and level. While I am capable of handling all of that, he definitely saved me some repeated repositioning and time. Most appreciated! The campground is built in a valley with sites terraced on either side. They are gravel and mostly level. If you have an RV with two dump ports, it is best to position your trailer with the hookups halfway between ports instead of pushed to the front of the driveway. I would have had to break out my 2nd sewer hose for the front port if I had put the trailer up front. The water pressure is 85 PSI so be sure to have a reducer. The wi-fi is excellent. However, the park asks that it not be used for streaming as to not overload the bandwidth. Not really an issue as cell service is great so our mobile hotspot did the trick. Highly recommend and would stay here again if in the area.

We had site T6 which is a nice site in the middle of the campground with a lot of space around you. It does not have hookups which is fine for us as we have solar. The site has minimal shade that let the batteries recharge completely each day. The potable water spigot is towards the front near the large campground information sign. The dump station is way in back in front of a site on the river. My wife gave the laundry room a thumbs up. The wi-fi is excellent. Very strong and consistent which was welcome as there was zero cell service. The only noise we encountered was a group who waited until after the office closed to entertain the entire park with music. Their trailer was a Solitude and was camped 2 sites down from a large No Loud Music sign. Go figure! Three Rivers appears to have a lot to offer in terms of restaurants. We used the well stocked market south of the campground. The southwest entrance to Sequoia is an easy drive, but the drive in the park is not. Be prepared for many curves and switchbacks. You will not make any time. Getting to Kings Canyon is a challenge. None of the routes are good. If I had it to do over again, I would move to somewhere near 180 to avoid that drive. It was 178 miles round trip from the campground to Muirs Rock.

Needed an enroute overnight. This worked out great! The rate is for seniors. $18 for others. The site has electric and water, but water is turned off for the season. The caretaker let me use the spigot near the honor pay station and brought an extra hose in case mine did not reach. The bath house is also closed for the season. Nice cement picnic table and fire grill. The view of the lake especially at sunset is great!

Found it difficult to specify in GPS. You can use the nearby Stroud Lake Disc Golf Course or the actual GPS coordinates noted above. There is a Stroud Lake Campground SE of Tulsa that is not this place.
