This place is the definition of a hidden gem! Driving up to the property had us a bit skeptical, as it is 20 minutes into the middle of nowhere NC, but it truly is a sight to behold. Mary and her daughter are incredibly hospitable. Mary's artwork is exceptional and has been sold internationally. Her creations are one of a kind. She makes structures out of recycled glass bottles and cement. I recommend going in the afternoon/night; when she comes out to light everything up it is truly magical! Don't forget bug spray!!
