In Ecola State Park and such an interesting area, would 100% reccommend going here!
One word. Incredible. This view was amazing, I'd looked at it online, but the rest of my party hadn't and they were absolutely blown away by the fantastic view, if you get the chance you have to go here, there was a fantastic ranger that gave us so brilliant information on the area and the birds and wildlife, would love to go back one day.

We wondered before we got here if we wanted to pay to go down in the elevator and go down to the cave, but we learnt that you couldn't go out to the look-out or anywhere outside without buying a ticket, but I'm glad we did. The cave was brilliant, although slightly smelly and we were getting bitten by some bugs (wear long pants!) it was so interesting to see the sealions completly oblivous to all these people watching them! There were also informative displays, and a look-out to see Hecta Head Lighthouse, which was a very unique view of it with the waves crashing against the rocks, when back outside and looking at the sea lions on the rocks we were lucky enough to see some whales, be warned it is very windy outside so put on a jacket, we really enjoyed our visit here and it is definitely worth stopping off if you have the chance, they have a large carpark on the opposite side of the road and we found a space quickly even though it was quite busy.
There is a visitor centre just off the highway, where you get fantastic views of the coast and their is also an informative display about the area, would absolutely love to go back one day and if you get the chance you should definitely stop here, even if just for five minutes to see the amazing view or a little longer to read all the displays.
