Brook The Traveling Dog

SUNNYVALE, California, United States

I'm a forever-three-year-old Papillon boy, traveling with my human Mom in Vanette, the Mom's proud camper van. To be honest, I prefer staying home. Sigh...

It's a great place to stop by, but $6 per person isn't very expensive just for the cornerstone and the shops, is it? It was painful to see a family of five who paid $30 just to take some pictures there.
And, no dog here. Why?????

Wished to be able to stay longer!
We arrived late and had to go on. So, we decided just to walk on a trail briefly and left there. Not entering the National Park, we didn't have to pay the park fee or anything. The trail we went (I don't remember the trail name.) had a vault toilet, and we were able to go on to the next destination.

We didn't have a time walking on the trails and really wish to come back here. The campground had a toilet and wash sink, and the great thing was it was offered for free! The views from the campground was wonderful!

We were not able to reach anywhere. The directions took us just in the middle of the field. We gave up.

This place is the creative vehicle presentation that's all. I didn't find any creator's message. Just seeing the painted or abandoned parts of the vehicles didn't press me anything. Not worth to stop, but we needed a break, so two stars should be good. The store was closed, and there was no bathroom facilities, though. We just walked that was all.

Thanks to the campground hostess, the over-night stay in the tent site (reasonable price!) was very comfortable! I chose my place to park, right across from the office, meaning that it was near from the bathroom and laundry. It also provided the best safety. She was super nice lady, who treated me like her own family. The facilities were quite new. Only unpleasant thing was the strong drain smell in the bathroom. I hope it's fixed by now.

We stayed here in tent site ($25 per night) twice before heading to our breeder's place. The overall experience was good as the facilities - bathroom and laundry room - are near, and the staff are helpful. The tent site is right near the road, and the noise from the road was quite a lot.

The Park-visit reservation for the particular day was required at the time we visited - October 2nd, 2022. It was too late to make the reservation, but we headed by hoping for some pictures and walking on allowed trails. We tried the Longs Peak Area - ended to climb up to Eugenia Mine - The thin air at the elevation 9,405 ft killed! We took 1.5 hours for this 2-mi trail on round trip and Lily Lake. There was no one to check the entrance fee. We totally enjoyed the Rocky Mountain National Park for free for a day!

We should have read the others' reviews before heading there. THERE IS NO SUCH THING. After we drove 20 mi bulldozer-paved rough roads each way, totaling one hour from the highway, having wasted our time and gasoline, we realized it was a prank or something. THIS LOCATION SHOULD BE REMOVED.

Worth stopping by here, though the constructions were going on. I wanted to enter the opened buildings. A few missionary ladies offered me to watch my dogs, but I declined. One of two dogs I had was a new dog to me and wanted to make sure I've been watching her all the time (just scared of losing her by any kind of incident). The missionaries were very nice! We had a great amount of chatting.
