It’s actually a pretty cool stop to get off the highway. Their shaved ice is cool, right next to a farm and it was cool to swing on the chairs on their lawn. The snowman is a small thing but it’s cute.

Flamenco has been called by many as one of the best beaches of the world. To get here, you need to take a ferry from the main island in Puerto Rico, or fly. Once you get to Culebra you can take a bus for a small fare that will take you straight to the beach. This beach has some abandoned military tanks that locals have painted, and make it a great photo-op. The water is crystal clear, the sand is fine and white, and you can see fishes or stingrays in the water any given day. It is a natural reserve, so you have to be very careful cleaning up after yourself. Many people are able to stay overnight in their camping grounds. During turtle season, you can see baby turtles go into the ocean, take tours for this.

It's one of my favorite places. I took a catamaran from Fajardo, and they provided meals and drinks for the day, they gave us snorkeling equipment, and we could see the coral reefs and beautiful marine life. Icacos is a little paradise, with clear waters, and you can even see the division between the ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
