Take exit 114 off of I-40, the tower is right there on the north frontage road. Quirky, cute and easy to see if you’re passing by.

We attempted to stop by these cabins and, upon attempting to turn north off of US 26 were met with a permanent Forest Service sign that read “Administrative use only. No Public Access.” There’s a Ranger Station about a mile or so west on 26, it might be worth stopping in there to see how to access the cabins. There are some dirt roads in the area that may get you there.

This rural school building mid century building is in great shape. Very pretty photos with the Beartooth Mountains as a backdrop. Watch for the sign on the west side of WY 120 for the school- the sign faces north so if you’re coming from the south you may miss the turnoff. As you leave the highway, you’ll be heading toward the mountains. The road will hit a T intersection in a mile or so. There is no sign for the school here. Turn left. You’ll go another 2 miles and make a right, Apple Maps actually has the location down pretty well (although the text description is wrong, the map is right)., it is on CR 1AG. There is no problem parking or walking through the gate to walk around the building.
