Stayed here on our way from Colorado to Wisconsin. Great place to stay and very affordable. They offer a complimentary buffet breakfast. However, due to low census, there was no buffet so they gave us free made to order breakfast, which was great! Staff was very friendly & the hotel is dog friendly. We forgot our pack n play for our 4 mo old daughter so they brought one up to our room! We ended up staying here again on our way back to Colorado.
This place was a dump, I would not stay here again. Only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was because there was a continent breakfast (pretty minimal but better than nothing)
Amazing! We managed to drive all 3 highways in one day. It took all day but we stopped a lot for pictures. While on the wildlife loop, we also took some unpaved roads. It was totally worth it! We even had a bison walk RIGHT in front of our car. Check out Sylvan lake at the end of needles highway, it was absolutely stunning!! A must if you're in the area.
Great place to stay at! The people who work there were very nice, the pool was nice enough, pancake bar was great! They even have fresh baked warm cookies and milk at the front desk between 3-4:30 everyday! The only reason I didn't rate it at 5 stars was because the room was REALLY small. You can tell they put a lot of elbow grease into the place and it's been refurbished from whatever it was before. It's very nice and clean, really cute, but just sooo small.
I'm 7 months pregnant and was worried about being able to go on one of their guided tours. We did the more strenuous 1hr 20min tour and it was great! There were young kids and older adults. Lots of stairs but they are staggered. It was really fun! $12.00 / adult.
I have no idea what the admission price is because we drove in and just turned around. It's neat but unfinished and didn't seem worth it for us, plus you can see it from the road.
A must! Beautiful scenery and plenty of trails to explore. 35 mi scenic drive, can take you an one hour to 8 hours depending on how much you stop and walk around. A very windy place, keep that in mind if you plan on tent camping 😏
Simple and convenient if your needing a place to rest just before the badlands (from the east). The front desk entry way smelled like cigarettes but the room was large and clean. We found there was NO WHERE to eat except for a subway next door and one restaurant called Jiggers. We went to Jiggers which was pretty standard small town diner service and food. The continental breakfast was nothing special but again, convenient.
A must! Such an amazing and picturesque site.
A fun stop along our roadtrip from Wisconsin to Yellowstone. There is basically a theme park / arcade area in the middle of the mall, surrounded by 4 floors of stores. We stopped we for dinner and ended up walking around for 4 or 5 hours. No super unique stores or anything.
