Easy hike. Be prepared to walk across a small stream and over some roots, but easily done. We didn't end up jumping in, but a lot of people were! No lifeguards, lots of people. Paid $10 for parking.

Wow! Incredible! Be prepared for a mile long walk through the caverns over the course of about an hour. There's a line to get in, so count at least 15 minutes for that as well. Not a quick stop, but very cool. Unlike anything I've ever seen!

Don't go at night! This is in a valley, and we had to drive up to a high altitude and through a cloud to get in and out. Horrible visibility. Whoops! Looked like it would be lovely during the day, though!

We went to the museum as well. I'm not a country music fan, but it was a decent stop. Mural was tricky to find and hard to get a picture of. Town was like a ghost town - nothing open on a Sunday! Down the main road in town, there are state line markers every 20 feet or so, like bricks placed in the middle of the yellow lines. Easy to get a "two places at once" picture with a foot on either side.

We went of 4th of July - their busiest day of the year. The line went VERY quickly, so don't be intimidated by it if it looks long. There are changing rooms, bathrooms, and lifeguards. The slide is easy and nothing to be afraid of. Lots of little kids and older people going down. Water is clean. We didn't wear water shoes and were totally fine. Easy to control yourself going down. Tons of fun and a wonderful stop on a hot day!

Fun thing to see. Huge parking lot. Nothing much in the town but okay for a quick stretch. Don't need more than 5 minutes here.

We went out on a day that was 99 and humid. Bad idea. LOTS of traffic getting onto the island, and we ended up being too late to buy tickets and go up the lighthouse. Easy walk to the beach from here - obviously. More of an afternoon trip than a stop on the road for us.

Right by the road. We saw these online but decided not to stop. Then we passed right by them and thought what the heck. They were being repainted on the day we were there. Nice bright pink now!

Nice rest stop across the street with Dairy Queen, Subway, etc.

Beautiful! Really hard to get a pic and down a dirt road. Still cool to see!

Cute spot to hop out and stretch. We parked at the church and walked down a small road to the site, which is at the entrance to the woods. You could certainly park down there as it's a very quiet road, but we liked the short stroll. Bring bug spray! Lots of still water/marshy area. Also lots of signs explaining the history.
