Cute stop along 101. The directions are off by about a mile so keep driving and you’ll see a sign. Nice little burger and ice cream shop next door. Delish root beer float and pineapple shake.

Be sure to get a permit at least one day in advance if you don’t want to hike in and hike out. The road is rough and winding but if you drive slow you can avoid the pot holes. Very pretty canyon covered in dense greenery. Nice short walk from the parking lot to the canyon. I just wore flip flops and it worked but my toes were cold! Lol
