We stayed here three nights when we went to visit our son. The campground is north of Madison, but an easy commute. Located just off the highway, there are several food options within walking distance. Park staff was very friendly and helpful and everything was clean and accessible. The sites are a little close together, but it works ok. The only big drawback is the road noise from the highway. We will stay here again when we go back to Madison.

Good location and quiet atmosphere. We travel with our pup so we reserved a spot with a fenced dog play area. We love this!! We were able to let him run around while we relaxed by the firepit! Most amenities were closed (COVID) so we can't comment on those. The park staff was very helpful--even though we were the last to arrive for the evening! Make sure you grab food/groceries before you get there as there is not much around. We were able to have pizza delivered though! Great spot to spend a night on a long trip.
Nice, clean campground with spots right next to the river. We were a little disappointed that we were put right between two other filled spaces when there were several empty spots, however not enough to move as we were there only one night. COVID has been such a challenge for all and the campground had shut down most of the shower space due the pandemic. The place was quiet and peaceful. I would stay here again.
