Most definitely somewhere you need to stop! When flooded they produce some of the nicest photos. Would love to come back when it's dry as well
Pretty sure the "broken" spheres on the ground are intentional.. a cool piece and hard to miss as you approach heading west...
Super nice folks! Lovely little museum and cool gift shop. It's worth the drive to have a look around.
this is a bit of a mis-nomer as it's really just a bunch of corrals of wild horses awaiting adoption... still cool but not really what I would call a "Scenic Loop"....and if you decide to continue along the road they are on... you'd better have a good 4WD vehicle...I climbed to the top by the radio tower, but I wouldn't have even tried it in anything but my Jeep
These are a sets of absolutely stunning bronzes...Kudos to the artist(s)...my favourite part of the trip through Omaha
you can actually find a bunch more fossils in the loose rocks over by the dam spillway...from the parking lot head toward the water then follow the road left towards the dam....look at the rocks to the right of the road (when facing the dam)
