Sam's Place Bar & Grill

Sam's Place is the oldest Bar & Grill in South Lake Tahoe. Established in 1971, our valued patrons are a mix of locals and tourists. In the winter season, we're a popular destination after a long day of skiing and sledding at the nearby slopes of Heavenly Valley, Diamond Peak and Northstar for a hot meal and a drink or two and to sit next to the fireplace. In the summer, they come from all over, including after a relaxing time at Zephyr Cove beach.

Sam's Place offers a variety of entertainment, from slot machines to a pool table, jukebox and games for the kids. During the summer months, the Patio is open and it's a relaxing time under the table umbrellas to kick back or play table tennis (aka Ping Pong) or just hang out with the family.  We suggest you bring your friends for a backyard BBQ where we do the cooking and clean-up.  We often offer specialty drinks (e.g., Mojitos) to go with the great food.
