Very well kept, grassy areas spread out trees. Campground is on a bit of a slope, but the sites are level. Somewhat close together, but arranged that most have a bigger feeling.
Good sized newer playground, pool and laundry. No cable but excellent WiFi. Paved/ gravel roads. Gravel site with grass on awning side picnic table and fire ring. Placement of our fire ring was at front of site one step from our motorhome door. We called on a Thursday in July and got the last 50amp for Friday and Saturday, but 30 amp available. Seems like owner is a stickler for rules, visitors and pets, but makes for a quiet clean camping experience. Family, not party oriented atmosphere. Our price is for 3 adults w Good Sam discount.
Access from hi way has OK signage, one will have to go slow anyway as narrow curvy roads. The trickiest part was the entrance road, narrow, two way uphill with a blind corner. Easy does it. If one needs it, a good number of nearby restaurants and two Wal Marts. We couldn't hear any road noise, faint train whistle

This was a nice campground. The sites are terraced, but level. We were in a pull through, 50 amp, full hookups. There was a nicely painted picnic table and fire ring. The place was immaculately kept. The fella was mowing and weed eating all the time. There was a nice pool that was open while we were there and a playground. The roads are gravel and well graded. They are super strict on cursing, drinking and loud music. Which we appreciated. It’s a pretty transient park, as it has good access to I-70. Good restaurants and shopping minutes away. We found a butcher shop, Rittenberger Meats, that was awesome. There’s an ice cream shop, Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl, it’s been there since 57 and has been in magazines. It’s a tiny little spot with fantastic ice cream, huge portions. We found it because we have local friends. Try it. The only downside is the road in. Right at the entrance there’s a blind curve and a hill, quickly meeting the road. The problem is when you are in a Class A, pulling a Jeep, and you meet a huge 5th Wheel coming down that hill, and you meet on the blind curve. Big gullies on the roadside. That was a breath taking few moments. Just be careful.

It wasn’t great but not horrible. Site was not level and was muddy. Also, littered with dog crap. Facilities were pretty clean.

I stayed at Wolfie's for over two years and it was a great campground. Very clean and well maintained. New owners recently took over and are doing a lot more activities and making it more kid-friendly. Pretty quiet place for the most part, although in some spots you can hear the live music from the bar across the river, and there are trains that pass through nearby frequently. That noise never bothered me though. It's very close to town, but it doesn't feel close to town.

I stayed overnight 8/24. Laundry prices are very good ($2/wash, $1.50/dry). The shower room has a nice place to put your stuff while you shower. Pull-through gravel site was level. The whole campground is very clean and quiet. The staff I met were nice. The only bad thing is the two roads leading into the campground are narrow.

Very helpful and friendly couple! Pretty spot.
Driving through called ahead and they had one RV spot left, very accommodating! Clean, well kept and enjoyed our overnight stay!
