Hope Furnace

The Hope Furnace is located in Southeastern Ohio along State Route 278, approximately 5 miles northeast of the village of Zaleski. This historic & old blast furnace used to heat an entire bustling town filled with workers, a postoffice, schoolhouse, and houses. What makes this old furnace so interesting is the supernatural wonders that haunts this furnace till this day. Legend has it one eerie night, the night watchman stumbled into the fiery pit and burned to death. His ghosts still haunts the furnace till this day!
