Tucked in between a government facility and a ball field, there are good signs pointing the way into this dump station. While there appears to be what may be a donation box (what else would it be???) there is no sign indicating donations encouraged. I’m assuming they don’t actively request them anymore. Potable water available.
First of all, big thanks to Marshall for posting his review. I will just add that to get to the facility make a right on Nevin Way which is off 95/Main St just as you are leaving town heading East.
Nice
The water has been shut off (both the rinse / non potable and the potable water). Went to the chevron around the corner for water and they charge $20. The attendant said it’s probably because the water bills are so high.
Kind of a weird spot and hard to find if you don’t know what you’re looking for. The dump station is right by the baseball field, the skate park, and the batting cages.
Theres a big truck blocking the dump with a sign on it that says RV dump closed.
Starting using this station in October 2020 and it was great but the end of November, went back and it was clogged. Tried again December 10, still clogged. Ended up going to the rest area instead. Much cleaner and working.
The dump here is currently closed, with large concrete barriers surrounding the dump area. The water is on, however, if you need water.
As of 3/26/2022
The dump station is gone. Looks like a remodel of skate park and ball field.
