Weed Heights RV Park

We needed a stop to fill up water, empty the grey tank, and get a shower, when we came across this spot with great reviews. Boy are we glad to have found this! It is in the middle of nowhere (in other words our favorite kind of place) 2 miles off the highway to the top of a hill at the end of the road. You’ll camp on a gravel lot with some trees between the sites, but that doesn’t tell the whole story.

There were few overnight guests and some people living there full time, who were all placed in adjoining sites limited to one section of the park. It was quiet, and the restrooms and large shower rooms (each with their own toilet) were spotless! There’s a “club house” with TV, tables and games, gas grill, and coin laundry.

Last but not least, the hosts were wonderful! It was too hot snd smokey from the wildfires to stay longer, but we’ll return to explore the area when the weather is more hospitable!

Unexpected stop but definitely worth it. Easy access and large pull through spots. Mark & his wife were very nice. There was a clubhouse and bathrooms were very clean. We had great reception in our RV to watch the football game.

Called last minute and they had availability. Showed up with a 30’ Class A and a 16’ enclosed. Camp host walked me to an available spot under trees. Next morning was cool. Late July.

This place was a God-send!! Terrible wind, snow, etc; exhausted from the horrors, stumbled across this place. Owners were super sweet. Facilities were very clean. Quiet. I could hear coyotes at night- so watch small animals and kids. Owners sent us off with books, videos, muffins and coffee. $25 a night. Hidden gem.

We called a few hours ahead explaining we wouldn’t arrive until 9 pm due to rv troubles. When we pulled in the helpful manager came out to greet us. He directed us to our site and helped adjust it for our wheelchair lift. We are in a 36' Class A pulling a van on a tow dolly. Plenty of room to maneuver.

The night was quiet and we slept in after our late arrival. Didn’t use showers tho.

Used Good Sam card for $30 rate. Bring cash.

Two miles from Yerington.

This is our second stay. We are hoping for a monthly spot as we are full-time. It very quite here.

The clubhouse is awesome. It has tvs and books and games. The showers are clean and nice. This had to be almost the bestspot to stay.

Our only issue has been that the spots aren't level. But that isn't really a big deal as the M
manger help us by teaching us how to level during our first stay. They are very sweet and helped us learn a lot as this was the first park we stayed at after moving full time into our trailer.

It is a great place.
