Glen House Inn

A very beautiful and quaint bed and breakfast located near John Bryant State Park. The rooms are all cozy, bright, and have a gas fireplace. The Terra Cotta room has large windows and French doors that open to a small patio. The patio looks off onto the back woods of the property. There is plenty of green space below and a creek. The Terra Cotta room is the only one that does not have a shower, it only has a large soaking tub. The rest of the bed and breakfast is filled with beautiful art work, sitting rooms, a large kitchen, and fireplaces. The main rooms are very spacious and quiet in the evenings, which is nice. Next to the main house is their swimming pool and the original barn. The barn can be used as a rental space for events. As if all the amenities were not enough, the inn keepers Bil and Jody are amazing. They are very down to earth and friendly. Bil has a guitar in the house and my boyfriend played it but Bil said is is not his best one, so the next day he showed up with one of his other guitars and the 2 sat and played music. Jody makes a wonderful breakfast (try the homemade granola) each morning and always asks if she can make you anything else. When booking the room she made sure to ask if there were any allergies to food, which was very nice. You are able to rent the whole home for a weekend or weeknight trip if you are looking to bring friends and family members. The Glen House Inn is less than 2 miles from downtown Yellow Springs and John Bryant State Park.
