This campground is in the improvement prosses but has a lot of good size sites and the staff is very attentive. I travel at my job and if I ever get back to Mineral Wells I will be staying here.

I had a great experience at American Way RV Park. The campground was well-maintained and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect location for exploring Parkersburg, WV. I highly recommend this campground.

I arrived on 7/21/23 and called the number listed on Campendium. I spoke with Johnathan and he said he is not really set up for overnight stays, it’s more for long term. He had someone come to meet us anyway. It was 2pm and the guy who came out to meet us was obviously woken up and walked very slowly to us. He told us the price was $55. The electrical boxes were installed very shabbily so for $55 and the possibility of damaging our electrical system we pulled out of there immediately. So, as the last person said the price was $20 in 2023, this would be a steep increase. Not worth it!!

It used to be a trailer park till everyone got evicted and parts of the trailer park flooded before they made this campground and there is no bathhouse
