This a small ground that's well maintained. The host are friendly and keep the grounds clean and incontrol to make sure rules are followed. There's a nice boat ramp and boat slips for those wanting to leave boats while camping. There's also a small beach area for kids. There's several fishing spots along the edge of the shore as well.
There is water for your rvs around the Park but not at every site. The bathrooms are pit but very clean.
The site are pretty level and grass is around too which make it easy for families and kids to play games.
No electricity and they are strict about turning them off by 10pm.
The one thing that was annoying was a fellow camper letting their dog bark, but we didn't want to be a Karin and spoil their family time so didn't complain to anyone.
I highly recommend this park.

We really enjoyed our time at Holter Lake. We traveled with our 4 kids (ages 5-13) and there was a lot to do.
First the site. If we were to come back we would not stay in this site again. It was in the parking lot. We definitely want to get into the loop. You can't have fires in these sites, but you can in the loop. The site was level and clean, no trash. It was nice and close to the beach, which was a plus. The spaces are really tight. We had to park our truck in a nearby parking spot because there wasn't room for it at the site.
Second, the grounds. So great! There was a little beach with a swimming/picnic area. There was lots of room to play bocce ball and bags. We went down to the docks where our kids caught tons of perch. The second they put their hook in, they caught a fish. There was a bear wandering around the grounds, which is unusual. They were vigilant about catching it and keeping everyone safe though. The bathrooms were nice and close, we didn't use them much though. They were very strict about quiet hours. Absolutely no generators between the hours of 10pm and 7am.
Lastly, the hosts were great! They kept in communication with us and enforced rules appropriately. They were attentive to any needs.
We would stay at Holter Lake again, but not in the site we had. We just have to reserve in way advance. Definitely recommend to anyone!

The sites are well spaced with threaded fresh water at well spaced intervals. There is no dump. AT&T service is 2 bars. The sites are gravel and wide enough for 2 campers or a camper and boat. Lots of fishermen are here. The views are wonderful. The climb into the campground entrance is a bit steep but road is paved and good. Not crowded on weekdays.
