“one of the few drive ins still open in South Dakota”
The Winner Drive-In opened in 1950 and is one of the few outdoor theaters which is still in operation in South Dakota. The drive-in can accomodate 375 cars, and features a playground, and a section of outdoor stadium style seats. The Winner Drive-In was once one of two drive-ins located in Winner (the other was the Pix Drive-In, closed in 1998 and operated by the same family which still runs the Winner Drive-In). The theater’s season runs from May through September.
