“No Camping” sign posted as of 8/28/2024. Sign was past the Day Use parking area as you approach the lake. We did not stay!

Lots Of Room. As Prior Review said Coordinates Are Further Down The Road Then Photo Depicts. Pass Day Use Area, Drive Over Train Tracks And Up Hill FOrest Area 8657 Opens Up On Your Left.

It's further back than the coordinates. You can see all the RVs on satellite view. I suspect workers from Butte live here in the summer, as it was quite a bit cooler than town. There's a big flat area to park with other RVs, some of which are running generators, but they got quiet early. There was some road traffic late afternoon and early morning. The highway noise was faint. Two cell towers very close. T-Mobile was good. The road was a bit narrow, but good gravel.

The road in is a bit washboards but sites are large. Watch for the group of cattle that may come through your site in the morning.
