Price per night was high for very basic site. Firewood was was wet and expensive. Worst part was proximity to busy highway and construction noise.

Stayed for two nights in June 2020. Park was only 30% or so full due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Very clean, well maintained campground with a small pool, small dog park and basic amenities. Good for a few days stay when visiting the area. Like many KOAs, the RV sites are spaced very close together, not much in the way of privacy. That’s our only negative comment.

I generally avoid KOA's as I find they are over priced and full of rules, but this place was great. I give credit to the amazing staff. They are so friendly and make you feel very welcome and they would help you out any way they could. We stayed during COVID so the pool was restricted to reservations of 1 hr (10 people max). Only really an issue on weekends when the park had more guests. The campground was very clean. I was able to work my 9-5 job from our campsite on wifi.

I booked the site based on previous Campendium reviews which indicated that service was available for both Verizon and AT&T, and because I can usually get a signal when others can’t. But even a combination of a MIMO antenna and a WeBoost wasn’t enough to give me anything more than 2 Mbps down and less than 1 Mbps up, which is too little for remote work (using zoom, etc).
For Verizon, I did have a strong connection to the tower but the internet was unusable, something like 0.1 Mbps down. The number of bars is only an indicator of your signal strength, which doesn’t always translate to a fast connection.
But the staff was amazing!
Tamara and her husband (the staff during our visit) were the best! We ended up leaving after one night though because I needed to work remotely, which I was able to do (dry camping) just a couple miles down the road at Quechee State Park.

This camp was relatively small and staff wasn't as friendly as they usually are but the buildings and facilities were in good repair.
A true jewel in the crown of KOA Campgrounds. For the past few years we have been wondering just what KOA is thinking when they let some campgrounds carry their name.
From the minute you drive into this beautiful campground you feel welcome. The folks at the store are more than friendly and informative. They make you feel welcome by conversation, sharing tips on where to go and what to see in the area and by their demeanor.
Sites are level and stoned with a very good quality stone, by that I mean not crush n run, or blacktop millings and other crappy stone you see in other campgrounds. The quality of the stone on the sites means so much as we have two small dogs which usually track in everything, Here at this site, not a problem, as this site is clean and stoned properly.
Bathrooms are clean, large and accommodating.
If you are going to need a spot in this area this is where you want to be.
You are gonna like it here.
