Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport is a public airport located 10 nautical miles (12 mi, 19 km) northeast of the central business district of Staunton, a city in Augusta County, Virginia, United States. It is mostly used for general aviation, but is also served by one commercial airline. Service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. The airport, situated in Weyers Cave, Virginia, is operated by the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport Commission, which consists of members from the cities of Staunton, Waynesboro and Harrisonburg, and the counties of Augusta and Rockingham. As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 7,746 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 8,364 enplanements in 2009, and 10,408 in 2010. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a non-primary commercial service airport based on enplanements in 2008/2009 (between 2,500 and 10,000 per year).
