I stayed here one night as a car camper. The campground loops up and down a fairly steep hill. The sites are level enough but are probably only big enough for small to medium sized rigs and trailers. The turns around the camp sites can be tight.
The campground as a whole is under renovation which is nice. The bathrooms and showers are finished. Be mindful with the shower temp. You could boil eggs with it.
Other upgrades include walkways and pavilions. Most seemed to have electrical hookups if you wanted to plug in away from the campsites for work or whatever during the day. None were in use on my visit Friday-Saturday noontime.
There is a nice trail that will make you breath deep and a disc golf course I didn’t get around to play but was told it was a good one.
Westminster is 10-15 minutes away and should have most supplies needed. An ingles is a bit further.
Good cell service. 10-20 mbps just about site-wide.
