Yellowstone Rodeo

Fun rodeo and great final day for our Yellowstone experience. But then we went to Jackson Hole and totally wish we had done the rodeo there instead! But it was fun and the kids really enjoyed the participation. We payed online and when we got there all they had was a girl standing next to a car looking at our PayPal receipt and handing out tickets, but nobody asked for our tickets and it seemed like we could have just walked in for free. But... we have clean consciences so... 😂

This was a fun rodeo experience for my kids. Lots of audience participation and interaction. They divide up the bull riding for the beginning and ending. Roping, barrel racing and team roping events take place. The rodeo clown is funny, but he includes mildly sexual content. It does get pretty cold, so dress warmly and/or bring blankets. I loved the patriotic message and tribute to the military at the start of the rodeo. Kids each got a $1 coin for participating in the calf chase. They were thrilled!
