“premier RV camping and tenting”
Pine-scented campsites here are a mere 2.5 miles from Glacier National Park's west entrance. A short drive of a few minutes brings you to the start of the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road that twists and climbs across the million-acre alpine preserve. Whitefish, Kalispell and Flathead lakes are within driving distance to explore for part of a day with plenty of time left to relax at this KOA. A local photographer hosts wildlife slide shows twice a week. Experience the log-fashioned pavilion lodge that houses a pool table, satellite television and a fireplace. This KOA also offers a heated pool and hot tubs. Enjoy breakfast services as well as Dinner with Gene. You can treat yourself to huckleberry ice cream at Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe or head to the state's largest water park in nearby Columbia Falls. Pool: June 1 - September 15. Max pull thru: 75 feet. Your hosts: Greg and Theresa McClure.
Stayed 2 nights at a dry, tent site with our family of 6 and I must say this was one of the best KOAs we have ever stayed at across country! Very large, clean bathroom/shower facilities. Lots of activities for children-pool, playground, soccer field, gaga pit, hiking trail, etc. On site access to camp store, restaurant, espresso, and ice cream. Very close to Glacier National Park, which is an amazing experience in itself!!
This was our first KOA. It was very well kept and clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back! Other campers and townspeople said it was the nicest KOA they'd ever seen. Highly recommend!
Beautiful campground within striking distance of Glacier NP.
We were there 4 nights and this place is awesome. Not only is it absolutely beautiful but the people were very nice. A+ place. We will come back one day. Close to the park and easy to get to. Loved it.
Conviently close to the west entrance of Glacier NP.
Very nice KOA with great amenities. Would stay here again.
Very nice KOA, one of the nicest we have stayed at. Restaurant was meh. They have an ice cream shop, two dog parks etc.
This place couldn't have been more perfect for what i needed. I don't normally book campgrounds but did at the last minute when i decided to ride up and try the road to the sun. I arrived after just leaving a disappointing KOA experience to find spots well spaced out with evergreen trees and privacy abundant. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating. They have a cafe on site that serves "real" (not just reheated meat and potatoes) food. They have a hot tub and pool area designated adults only (the previous KOA hot tub was unusable with unsupervised kids massed in it). And the setting is exceptional with beautiful mountain peaks surrounding a incredibly well maintained and cared for park like campground. I was scheduled to just tent camp one night as I motorcycled through on a long trip, but with inclement weather they were able to find me a small cabin to dry out and weather the rain in. Well worth the price.
Wonderful sites, location and service.
