Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 21, 2023This campground is easily accessed off of I-90 but the road to the entrance is gravel (about one mile). There appears to be a lot of permanent residents here which was unexpected for a county park. Water and electric hookups and there is a dump station. Lots of trees and sites are good sized. Verizon service is excellent. Otherwise just generally no frills and a little rundown. No need to spend any more than one night here.

We needed a spot for a night on our way to our main park for the month. Yes there are seasonal rvs but ther are a few open spots for others. One of the residents said they just added the 50amp option. You can get water if you have a good long hose too. There is a dump station free if you stay $5 if you’re just dumping near the bathrooms. They are also adding spots on the lake. I will say the power is on the wrong side and near front of spot so you need a long power cable. We ran ours under and moved rv closer to front so managed with a 25ft cord. Would stay longer but we have places to be. And I will come back.

I should state for the record that we thought this site would be free, it was not. We couldn’t find any signs with the cost posted. If we had known we would’ve avoided it because we don’t need any amenities.
We decided to camp here because it was right off i90 and easy to get to. It’s right on a lake and there’s plenty of shade. It ended up being very loud between people and dogs talking and barking late into the night. While being near i90 was nice we were also getting noise from the interstate.
It was also pretty bright. We tried to stay away from the large light posts, but even still it was shining into our tent all night.
This is more of an RV friendly site. Not geared towards tent campers.
It has restrooms with flush toilets and a single shower that I chose not to use. There is a dumpster for trash.

This is not your luxury stay by any means. If one is looking for friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings without frills, this is a great location. Just off I-90, we were extremely happy to stay here, and would do it again. There is no wifi, but the cell signal (Verizon) is excellent.

Needed an overnight stay with power and this fit the bill. Quiet little campground, first come first serve. See or call camp host (second spot past the bathroom) upon arrival for the details. Camp host was most friendly and welcoming. Sites have water and 30 amp, dump station, shower house. Nothing fancy, but everything you need and in good working order. Lots of space between campers and lots of green space. Oh and shade. There is also a playground and a pavilion. Everyone was friendly.
