A go-to place operated by the Forbes family for the last 93 years, Forbes Restaurant was founded in the early 1920's by Vander and Marguerite Forbes and then run by their son Vander, Jr. and his wife Mary. Their son Joe and daughter Karen Forbes Darling presently oversee the business. Forbes is known for its fresh seafood and its signature product, the "scrambled hamburg." Our beef is fresh ground 3-4 times daily on the premises to ensure a perfect meal every time.

Forbes had been great for years until now. Completely understand the impact of inflation, but they've taken that excuse way to far. $6.50 for maybe 3/4 scoop of ice cream is insane. Such a shame. Read more
