I've been to this spot at least three times on my way to Richmond. Delicious pork bbq as well as fried chicken. You can tell it's a popular spot with those living in the area. While I ate I heard several servers call customers out by name and talk about their families, crops, etc. Definitely will go back for the great service and food!

Cowlings has excellent BBQ but what makes the experience wonderful are the employees. They are extremely friendly.
