The Burr arches sandwich a multiple Kingpost structure. It has a shake roof and lengthwise floor planking. It has unusual square portal design, known as a storefront portal, which not common in Pennsylvania. The structure rests on stone and mortar abutments reinforced with concrete and has wing walls extending only to road level. In 1999, at a cost of $8,500.00, both the sides and portals were recovered with new board and batten siding a new cedar shake roof, and painted barn red with white trim. Also known as the Keefer Mill Covered Bridge. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 29, 1979.
