This "lodge and breakfast" is a private wing on our contemporary farm house. You will come and go as you please with two private entrances. The breakfast gazebo, where you will enjoy a full country breakfast, has windows for a 270 degree panoramic view of rolling pastures. The living room, with cathedral ceiling and a soapstone stove offers an unsurpassed retreat with views looking out from all sides onto the workings of this cashmere goat farm. Bedroom The bedroom is tucked away on the lower level, with Italian tiled floor, a wood stove, a lovely collection of books, a video library, queen size bed with pure cotton linens, and down comforter. Bathroom has a sunken jacuzzi, and redwood sauna. Radiant floor heat throughout ensures winter comfort. Discover the elegant looking, friendly, curious and intelligent cashmere goat, which produces the downy fibre known as cashmere, highly noted for its softness and warmth. Join us in February through April to see how we comb the goats to harvest the cashmere. Join us in April and May when darling kids are born almost daily. It is a delight to watch these goat families as the kids grow throughout the summer. Aside from goats we have two horses, a pig, geese, chickens, gentle farm dogs, and barn cats. Located in the rolling hills of Washington, just 18 miles drive on scenic country roads to Camden, "where the mountains meet the sea".
